Puppet Making

Whenever I use puppets in my own work I build them myself, from small shadow puppet shows to fluffy glove puppets to large scale puppets for performances at outdoor festivals. I enjoy the challenge of devising the mechanisms that make objects do magical things.

Past Creations

Of all my past work I am most proud of the 20 foot long dragon puppet that was commissioned for the opening ceremony of Camp Bestival in 2019. Seen by an audience of thousands, we processed the puppet around the site and produced a short performance to mark the opening of the festival.
