Puppet Workshops

Every summer I hitch my gypsy wagon onto my truck and hit the road with my good friends, Spinney Hollow. Together we set up the green craft area at Camp Bestival. Across the festival, I run puppet-making workshops using wood sustainably sourced from our private woodland. I turn the puppets on a 'pole-lathe' using traditional green craft techniques. 

I am passionate about unlocking creativity and fascinated by how people open up when they are making with their hands. At the end of the workshop, I encourage the participants to get silly with their puppets on our Puppet Stage.
